For Advent and Christmas 2008 we had six bookings, all distinctive. Each event had its own ambience. At a Cambridge wedding reception we sang mostly traditional Christmas hymns and carols. At a National Trust event we provided atmosphere from off-stage. We gave three Christmas Services/Concerts in churches, with different programmes from the Renaissance to the present day. At All Saints we shared the concert with Hinchingbrooke School Chamber Choir. Traditional and modern poetry and prose readings were chosen for St Ives and St Barnabas. Heavy rain prevented our appearing at the outdoor St Ives Dickensian Market, but we hope this is just a postponement to another year.
